This fabulous Edwardian gents wedding buckle ring is, circa 1910.
Set in 9ct Yellow Gold which has developed a rosy colour with age.
This lovely ring has a buckle displayed at the front securing your love, with forget me knots engraved all the way around.
“Forget-me-not, O Lord!” is what a poor German knight shouted as he
fell into a river. He and his lady were picking flowers by the side of the river at the time,no doubt enjoying the beautiful day around them, and yet as fate would have it, the knight’s armour dragged him down to the bottom as he fell in.
Hallmarks can be seen inside the shank.
